Yes I'll admit I'm a little obsessed with Twitter & Cody Johnson.... I mean who doesn't love a attractive cowboy from Texas. There isn't a song by Cody Johnson that I 1) don't know the words to 2)not in love with. He's like George Strait in that way I can have a playlist just for him and sing every song and not get tired of it.

"The YEE-HAWS"
So today, a girl was asking and basically making fun of the way some of us "FFA" & "Country kids" or as we are called the "YEE-HAWS" or the "REDNECKS" dress. Let me remind y'all I live and am from TEXAS. Some people from other counties and even northern states think we ride horses to school. We are the unofficial western captitol of the world. So you can expect to have at least one kid at every school show in boots. It's normal you can't drive to Kroger without seeing a jacked up truck. It's just how Texas is you go big or you go home. But there is absolutely no need for someone to make fun of something for how they dress. We are allowed to wear whatever want last time I checked. Also if my mom is going to spend about $400 on a pair of boots I'm going to wear them to school. It's just like if your mom bout you a expensive hand bag from some high dollar place you're gonna wear it around. It's just how things are. Make fun of us all you want, but honestly we're just doing us. I'm sorry I don't only dress up for the rodeo once a year.

High school memories
Okay so can someone please explain to me when it became so "uncool" to be single? Like I'm in high school and yes I was in a relationship that was pretty much a year or my life and it ended not to long ago but being newly single (not that I'm by any means looking for a guy) when in the hell did it become to uncool and shit to be single? Like why do I need a boyfriend? That's just added stress in to my life like sure they're nice to have but if I have to work so extra hard to get one like no? I'm just gonna do me obviously and if one just so happens to fall in to my lap then so be it but I don't get all these girls over here like OMG I need to wear these jeans I think he'll wanna date me in the other jeans I own. Like t'f is wrong with this genteration? You worry more about a guy then your physics test that you know you haven't studyed for then you're gonna take it and fail and not get in to the college that you want or go to college at all and end up working at McDonald's all because you wanted a boyfriend that bad in high school. Honestly I blame Disney for this miss guidance that Troy is gonna come swoop us off our feet and we're gonna stay super smart and get in to like Harvard. When now a days what Disney fails to warn us about is guys are asdholes who just mostly wanna get laid in high school to show off to their buddy's. I mean have friends and hang out and stuff but don't make that your whole high school accomplishment. When you look back be able to say yeah I did some crazy ass shit and got in to college because I didn't make my life depend on guys and social life. They met each other half way.

"Love?"
When you google the definition of "LOVE" it tells you it's a noun and "an intense feeling of deep affection." What the hell does that even mean? I was asked if I believe in love once, I replied with do you believe in unicorns. The friend looked at me and laughed because he was used to my replies of sarcastic ignorance. All jokiness aside I think I believe in an extent of love. When I look at my Nana & Paw-paw I see love, but I also see love when I watch footloose or dirty dancing. Sadly as we all know movies aren't real. We all grow up watching Disney movies hoping one day to meet that guy who is your "prince charming", but lets face it they're not enough princes with royalty in this world for all girls to have one. Even though most of us past age 10 come to terms that we would be happy with someone less then a prince. Everyone has this different definition of love. This one four letter word has over hundreds or meanings and definitions to so many different people around the world. How can google compact all these meanings in to that one sentence. I'm personally scared of this word everyone can so openly say it like " I love this piece of pizza" or "I love you". I'm over here like "I really like this piece of pizza" and " I really like you". Love is not a word I take lightly and honestly I don't know what it is suppose to feel like truthfully. Anyone can fall in love I believe in that. Is being in love a real thing? I'm not exactly sure yet.

Saving money tips
So I know what you're thinking this 16 year old is not about to give me actual money saving ideas/tips. Well you're wrong because I'm about to give you some great ones.
1) No matter what, every girl wants a new something all the time. From clothes, shoes, purses, electronics, etc. Think twice about going out to buy something brand new check out apps like Poshmark, Mercari, Vinted they have a great stuff hardly used sometimes even new for most the time half the price! Instead of spending & $50 on this new dress I got one on Mercari for $7 + shipping. Another cool thing is you can even make some extra cash on things you have around that you don't want anymore. Poshmark just does women's clothes but Mercari has everything from clothes men, women and even children's they have electrons and home decor. It's incredibly easy. Just to sell all you do is post it and then when it's sold you print in the label the company provides you then ship it.
2) Another great tip is when you're going out to eat think twice before just going always check your email, texts or even websites a lot of place do coupons you don't have to pay full price without a discount just to have a nice night out.
3) If you're tight on money even if you're use to buying a certain type of things that might be rather expensive always look for a cheaper seniro. Even if you're just saving up to buy something any extra cash is helpful. Think twice before purchasing something you don't need!

Twitter=Subtweets
Okay I'll admit I'm one of the thousands of girls who have a slight (enormous) obsession with Twitter. I'll admit I do yes "subtweet" I share my opinions witch I do have the right too. Lemme tell you though I can't stand when someone gets butt hurt over someone subtweeting about them when they subtweet all the time. Like seriously ? If you can't handle what you dished out then maybe you should get out of the kitchen (yes I just used some deep quote that you may or may not of gotten) Twitter for me is a place to express myself some agree with my tweets others don't but I'm real. My famous quote is "I'm either gonna say it or tweet about it" that's just me honestly. If you don't like what you see on my Twitter let me give you a way out UNFOLLOW. It's a button right there on my profile easiest thing you can do in your life it's not rocket science it's Twitter science 😉 ( yes I'm corny). I like to rant about my opoions because I'm LOW KEY passionate about a lot of them y'all who follow me on Twitter would understand. If you're interested the username is @Maddie_1317

Teen Jobs Rant
You know... With school ending for me in about three days I really should find a job. I mean it's not that I haven't tried, but I don't want to be a lifeguard & I don't want to work at McDonald's. I mean what person wants to be held responsible for a persons life or work for a establishment that sales horse or dog or whatever is in the meat there they don't even have real lettuce. Like what the hell is fake lettuce? (No offense to those who work & support life guarding & McDonald's employees) don't get me wrong I value a life guard for saving my life if I was to need it, but personally HELL NO that job would be so stressful I don't want to be counted on to save you like that's hella pressure. I don't support McDonalds except for the fries I still sometimes have the craving to get some every so often so thank you to those who help me out with my fries needing.
I just wish more places would hire teenagers like we all need to start somewhere. We need expiernece in the work place just because I'm not 18 doesn't mean I can't answer a phone and be a secretary or something or even a office aid just to help around. It's such a struggle to be a teenager and want a respectable job where you actually can learn something or even just get a insight in to something you might actually like in the future with that industry.

Positivity is kind of a must
As the end of the school year approaches I can't help but feel obligated to write this. This school year has been a complete A-Z experience. From things that happened outside of school as well as in. Last year I wasn't very social able. I mean in some terms I was what you would call a "loner" I cannot recall hanging out with any one of my friends outside of school besides once or twice required for school projects. I was new to the "Katy life" I had came fresh from a more "lower class" (yes I talk with a lot of "___" deal with it) area. Now in what I call a very well developed area with lots of $$$ I had no clue where to even begin. I found a home this year in FFA. It may be called Future Farmers of America, but in sure if you ask ANY FFA member they will gladly tell you were not all gearing up to plow land for the rest of our lives. FFA is so much it's a family that you'll never forget. (I promise I'm not trying to convert y'all all in to joining). I met so many people that changed my whole point of you on so many topics. I'm very well outspoken I say things that might hurt your feelings but it's how I feel & if you know me you know I ALWAYS have a opinion on the subject at hand. Things change as well as happen for a reason. If you're not fitting in ITS OKAY! Personally I've been there done that. Everything eventually gets better wheatear you wanna believe it or not. There is going to be obstacles (obviously) in life it's what makes life's exciting. If everything is just handed to you how is your life different then anyone else's. Always see the positive. No one is talking to you at school.. Don't take it as a negative give you more time to pay attention in class & maybe one day you'll GPA well be so high they wish they talked to you. No one to hang out with... Spend time with your family most teens regret that when they get older because they spent so much time out they never realize that you're family are the people you fall back on no matter what embarrassing thing happens they're gonna be there unlike some friends. There is always someone who has it more worse some where else on the planet. Don't let things keep you down keep moving forward. Keep the positively always running.

Kylie Jenner Challenged Sadie?
You won't regret reading!
Need a little summer money?
So I've been hit like probably a lot of you. NEED NEW SUMMER WARDROBE! Here is a great way I definitely recommend to you to earn some extra cash & even get clothes/accessories at a great price. I've recently came about a app called vinted. I know what you're thinking should I trust this? It's really EASY all you do is download the app, make a account and get to shopping. There is even James Avery, Kendra Scout , & even Miss me. It's insane how cheap some of these items are. Another great thing is when you sale something they send you through email the shipping label so all you have to do is package the item up that you sold attach the label and ship it out. The customer pays for the shipping label that vinted emails you. The payment is pending till they receive the item once they do your money rolls in for you transfer anywhere you would like. Another great this is they have something called "swap" so if you don't want to buy something, but you see something really cute that you want you can ask the person to swap. So you give her something & she gives you something. It's a win win! This app is kind of addicting in a way.

President Elections
Okay let me start off by saying I might only be 16, but I'm very opinionated & I do have political views. I'm a republican. I stand with them & sure I might not agree with all the values off a republican, but I agree with way more of those then democratic. Texas is ran by republicans, and that's where everyone is currently moving. The south is ran by republicans when's the last time you heard someone say that they wanted to move to Washington DC? So I didn't like president Obama so I was considered racist, but now since I don't like Hillary I'm a sexist? I'm a strong feminist like you wouldn't believe, but do I want her running our country? My home? No! Most people voted Obama in go office for symbolism to have our first black president, but look where that got us? Do we really want to base our votes AGAIN off of our first female president? I too yes want a female in office, but is Hilliary really the best choice? In my opinion the answer is no! We don't need to vote off of symbolism that will get us no where! The people before us fought so hard for the rights in this country we need a person in office who's going to protect that & not put our country more in to debt.

Armed Forces
I saw Brantley Gilbert last night at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. I'm not going to write about the concert or how insanely hot he is or about how I thought I was going to pass out when I met him, but about something much more important to me. He came on stage in a WWP shirt. For y'all that don't know what that stands for it's the wounded warriors project. Some celebs I understand support things like this just for show or a tax write off. I don't personally think BG is like that, but that's besides the point. Everyone is affected by those people out there over sea's, home based, or even retired military personal. They're the ones who are out there every day fighting for the freedoms we get to use every second we are here in the beautiful United States. You may not realize it, but 4 out 5 warriors have a friend seriously wounded or killed in action. That's a huge percentage. This charity helps veterans get better or sometimes it's just giving support to them. Letting them know we care that they were out there. Not every solider has a family to help take care of them. There are some that consider the U.S. Military their family. They deserve so much after all they have gone through out there fighting & supporting keeping our home just as it is, FREE! Just taking a second to THANK a military personal or their family is making a difference. Each and every solider deserves a million thank you even though that is indeed unrealistic I can still dream one day it will happen though. I strongly support the U.S. military as you can see. Please click on over to this link & just take the time to understand the sacrifice these women & men make everyday. Also next time you see a military personal or even just a mother, daughter, wife, husband, son, grandmother, or whoever of one take the time to say thank you. After all the freedom speech you use so frequently is something they're helping protect.
