I saw Brantley Gilbert last night at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. I'm not going to write about the concert or how insanely hot he is or about how I thought I was going to pass out when I met him, but about something much more important to me. He came on stage in a WWP shirt. For y'all that don't know what that stands for it's the wounded warriors project. Some celebs I understand support things like this just for show or a tax write off. I don't personally think BG is like that, but that's besides the point. Everyone is affected by those people out there over sea's, home based, or even retired military personal. They're the ones who are out there every day fighting for the freedoms we get to use every second we are here in the beautiful United States. You may not realize it, but 4 out 5 warriors have a friend seriously wounded or killed in action. That's a huge percentage. This charity helps veterans get better or sometimes it's just giving support to them. Letting them know we care that they were out there. Not every solider has a family to help take care of them. There are some that consider the U.S. Military their family. They deserve so much after all they have gone through out there fighting & supporting keeping our home just as it is, FREE! Just taking a second to THANK a military personal or their family is making a difference. Each and every solider deserves a million thank you even though that is indeed unrealistic I can still dream one day it will happen though. I strongly support the U.S. military as you can see. Please click on over to this link & just take the time to understand the sacrifice these women & men make everyday. Also next time you see a military personal or even just a mother, daughter, wife, husband, son, grandmother, or whoever of one take the time to say thank you. After all the freedom speech you use so frequently is something they're helping protect.
