Pop Country

Ok if you are a Taylor Swift fan you might want to stop reading this right now. Taylor Swift who once yes could of been considered country but now hell no Taylor Swift is as country as Miley Cyrus. Taylor Swift yes is a amazing singer if you like that kinda pop music stuff. If you think Taylor swift is country you seriously must not know who real country singers are like George Straight or Hank William's Jr. We are never getting back together or any of that other stuff is not country at all. Maybe like Pop Country and to thinking about it I'm sure now a days we could fill a whole radio channel just of pop country songs. I mean Hunter Hayes yes I love some of his songs and he's adorable but he's not really that country. He may of grew up country same as Taylor Swift and yes some of their songs sound country but they're not really country singers honestly. If you say you listen to country singers don't just name Taylor swift because you don't really listen to country music unless you can name some good old country songs and singers.

Rodeo Season

So the line up was announced not to long ago for the HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO and I know everyone is trying to score tickets for some of these amazing artists coming to town. I will say that i'm kinda disappointed with the line up. I expected for Kacey Musgrave's,  Miranda Lambert, or Brantley Gilbert to at least come. Personally I think it's getting sad how many non country singers come to the rodeo now a days. I mean it is the rodeo which means country music not pop. I would be perfectly fine if it was like one or two people but I mean there is like a whole weeks worth of them now. 

 

 

If you are thinking about getting a new pair of boots for this years rodeo season a great place to start your search is TEXAS JUNK COMPANY in downtown Houston. They have boots starting at just $30 some are used but it's a really cool place to check out with loots of different sizes and styles. Hard part is the guy who runs it only opens when he wants to.
